What started as a modest gathering of 800 attendees in a small convention center has transformed into Australia's premier gaming exhibition, attracting over 15,000 visitors annually. Our inaugural event featured just 25 exhibitors and a handful of workshops, but the overwhelming enthusiasm from the gaming community made it clear that we had tapped into something special. The connections forged, knowledge shared, and opportunities created during that first expo motivated us to expand and evolve.
Over the past eight years, we've witnessed remarkable growth not just in attendance numbers, but in the diversity and quality of our programming. We've hosted world-renowned game developers, facilitated partnerships between indie studios and major publishers, launched successful careers through our mentorship programs, and created a thriving year-round community that extends far beyond the annual expo weekend.
